Vmax200 has shared a video of the Koenigsegg One:1 reaching 220 mph on their private airport runway. They provided a POV version and a non-POV version. Honestly, a Civic doing 40 mph can be more exciting. Let us explain…

Things are relative. It may turn out that to enjoy 220 mph, you may just need to be a spectator. Or ride on the roof of a car going 220 mph. But other perspectives tend to be boring.  Imagine a Civic doing 40 mph down a sidewalk in Chicago’s Loop.  At lunchtime.

A few days ago Vmax200 published a POV version of the Koenigsegg run. Which was great if you want to stare at a shivering driving wheel for minutes on end. The non-POV version of the Koenigsegg One:1 was a good sight better, if you want to stare at an airport runway whizzing past you (actually you’re whizzing past it, but it’s all relative.)

So as a more electrifying alternative – even though it’s a year older, we’re presenting the outboard video of the 1360hp Koenigsegg One:1 attacking the Goodwood Festival of Speed Hillclimb 2014. The video gives a much better idea of what it’s like to go this meteoric fast. The Legendary Car Guy noted that a few “Oh shit” expletives from the driver would have added drama.
