UPDATE MARCH 26, 2014: Aston Martin filed a lawsuit against Henrik Fisker alleging infringements & hurt feelings by “Project Thunderbolt”.  In light of this unpleasantness, Mr. Fisker has abandoned the Thunderbolt project.

Design master, Henrik Fisker, chose the 2015 Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance to show off his “improvisation” on an Aston Martin V12 Vanquish. It’s called “the Thunderbolt”.

This latest design makeover shows Fisker hasn’t lost confidence from the setbacks with his Fisker Karma. It takes a lot of grit to shake yourself off after a failed investment of heart and soul… and get back on the horse. <said sincerely>

Henrik Fisker can bring his success in designing premium cars like the Aston Martin DB9 and V8 Vantage, Artega GT and BMW Z8 to the Thunderbolt.

There’s a lot of sleek romance in the Thunderbolt. The coach-built carbon fiber body is clean with a daring crease or two and with deeply sculpted air ducting. The hood is a large power dome with long triangular sculpted air intakes. Wraparound rear window and panoramic glass roof should make for some cosmic Sunday drives.

Open those doors! Interior has a state of the art Panasonic curved screen and a designer chronograph… even a built-in leather wine-holders.

You can’t buy Fisker’s Vanquish, exactly. But you can commission something very close, also called a Thunderbolt, at the mega-car-dealer Galpin in Los Angeles. Tell them we sent you!
