Oh No! My new Swiss-made $7,000 bike that I just picked up was just ripped off. Oh Crap! I didn’t even have time to set it up! Oh Thank You! I got it back within two hours and the thief said he was thankful for the experience!

A cutaway 1965 Corvette? You need one, dude!
And you can bid on it on May 2, at the RM auction in Fort Worth. You can also bid on 75 other cars from the Andrews Collection, including Duesenbergs, a Cunningham, some one-off Packards and a 1963 Shelby 289 – the very first Cobra racing car sold to the public.
Among all the initiatives Ford has been trotting out, none is more interesting than their leap into the lap of luxury. Or at least resurrecting American Grandeur.
This week at the New York Car Show, Ford is introducing a Lincoln Continental Concept. This is one concept that appears to already have been given the green flag for 2017 model year.
Mecum just concluded their auction of E.J. Cole’s Collection in Las Vegas. It was a barnstormer! Story told on Cycle World is that old man Cole tortured ardent suitors for any part of his collection by making ever more impossible $$ demands. Doesn’t supply rise to meet demand? Maybe not! Dodge has gotten so many orders for its stable of 707-horsepower Hellcats that it’s giving up the race to keep supply rising to demand.
According to Mr. Incognito at Chrysler: “Due to unprecedented demand for the 2015 Dodge Charger and Challenger SRT Hellcats, we are temporarily restricting orders while we validate current orders that are in the system.” That quote has raised some eyebrows at the Detroit Free Press.
UPDATE MARCH 26, 2014: Aston Martin filed a lawsuit against Henrik Fisker alleging infringements & hurt feelings by “Project Thunderbolt”. In light of this unpleasantness, Mr. Fisker has abandoned the Thunderbolt project.
Design master, Henrik Fisker, chose the 2015 Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance to show off his “improvisation” on an Aston Martin V12 Vanquish. It’s called “the Thunderbolt”.
This latest design makeover shows Fisker hasn’t lost confidence from the setbacks with his Fisker Karma. It takes a lot of grit to shake yourself off after a failed investment of heart and soul… and get back on the horse. <said sincerely>
Henrik Fisker can bring his success in designing premium cars like the Aston Martin DB9 and V8 Vantage, Artega GT and BMW Z8 to the Thunderbolt. Read more…

Just posted by LiveLeak is a wild (*must-see*) police chase of a motorcyclist in Surrey, British Columbia. Ok, you may be a little shaky on where British Columbia is (in Canada, all the way to the left). But this bike chase will drop your jaw.
The fugitive – who gets away! – makes a major detour through a shopping mall. Watch shoppers mentally process what is going on and decide to leap away.
BBC reports they have suspended their star host on Top Gear for engaging in a “fracas”. Definitely no show this weekend, and rumor has it that the rest of the season (2 more shows) have been canned.
Rumor has it that Clarkson “clocked” a producer. No reason has been advanced for why the 6’5″ host would take a swing.
Update: Over 500,000 people – and that’s a lot of car guys – have signed a petition to restore Jeremy to Top Gear. Watch petition accumulation HERE.
Jim Hall is a Texan and hall of fame *wildcatter* in the racing car fields. Now 76 years old, he is the famed builder of the winged Chaparral race cars, a former Indy-car owner, pioneering aerodynamicist, and wayback in the day even an F1 driver for Lotus.
Hall’s Chaparral series of cars, whether prototypes or Indy cars, were so outside of the box, many of his designs ended up being banned. Too revolutionary! Read more…
