2003 & 2004 Mustang Mach 1

In this painting you're right in the middle of the pack, racing up the street—being part of the action. Combining several cars in one view presented a challenge in both scale and perspective. I chose a single point perspective for creating the dramatic streetscape. To draw attention to the Shakers, I aligned all of the hood scoops along the horizon line, positioning the red Mach 1's Shaker directly on the vanishing point. In the two years of production, the Mach 1 was available in 8 colors—all of which are represented.
