Stark power versus the majesty of the Alps: a strong design by a Swiss posterist who made important contributions to his country’s graphic arts. The fourth Swiss Grand Prix was totally dominated by Germany: the first five places were held by three Mercedes and two Auto-Unions. The winning driver was the reliable Rudi Caracciola.
