Shipping & Returns FAQs

  1. How are my items shipped?

We go to great lengths to ensure all artwork ships in excellent condition. Artwork is inspected and handled with gloves, and protective tissue is placed on top of the image area before being carefully rolled into the shipping tube. We use shipping tubes that are large enough to ensure the artwork is not creased when rolled into the tube

We use several different carriers to provide you with the most reliable service at the lowest cost. As a general rule, we use UPS for domestic US shipments, Fed-Ex for shipments to Canada, and United States Postal Service for international shipments.

  2. When should I expect to receive my shipment?

Delivery time averages 3 to 7 business days once your item(s) leave our Fulfillment Center. If you provide a valid email address when ordering, a notification will be sent when the shipment occurs. The email will include a link to the carrier’s website where you can track the progress of your shipment online.

For most artwork, we pride ourselves in packaging for shipment within 1 business day after you place an order. Framed artwork requiring crating requires 7 — 14 days.

  3. Do you offer express shipping options?

Yes! If all items in your shopping cart indicate shipping “usually 24 hours,” you can choose an express shipping option during check-out.

If this option does not appear, and you wish expedited shipping, please complete the checkout process and call Legacy Customer Care with your order number or contact us via email to customercare@automotive-art.com.

If you have a specific item in mind, check RATES.

  4. What if the container arrives damaged?

Please refuse delivery of any obviously damaged outer cartons from our carrier. Do not open the carton, and notify us immediately. This preserves our right to collect insurance from the carrier and your right to an exchange.

  5. How do I unfurl a print?

We have found that shipping tubes are the most dependable manner to ship artwork. You’ll find we use bigger and thicker shipping tubes than most anyone. The bigger tubes help ensure your art will not be creased. Because your artwork is rolled, it will have a tendency to curl when you remove it. Just put four heavy books on each corner for a couple of days, and the art should flatten out. When you frame or mount the art to a flat surface, the curling will not be a problem.

If you’re still concerned, please feel free to CONTACT US.

  6. What is your return policy?

We offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If you’re not completely satisfied, we will gladly accept a return for exchange or refund (less shipping costs), provided the item is returned within thirty (30) days from date of shipment.

Please do not open any shipment that has been visibly damaged in transit.

  7. How do I return an item?

Please return the item(s) in the same packaging it was shipped in. Include the protective tissues. Be sure to include a copy of the invoice with your return plus an explanation letting us know why you aren’t satisfied with the item(s). Also indicate whether you prefer an exchange or refund. If the invoice is no longer available, please include your full name, address and order number, if possible.

If your item arrived damaged, please take care to pack so further damage does not result.

Returns should be insured for the full retail value of the package contents and the shipping pre-paid by the customer. UPS rates include coverage up to $100, above which you must pay extra. Other major carriers may offer different levels of insurance. Please make sure your return shipment is properly insured.
