When you heard about gene-splicing and cloning healthy body parts, you just knew it was a matter of time. More thrilling than Juraissic Park! Well, here’s the retromod of your dreams.

Revology Cars is building a 1964 – 66 Mustang – from the ground-up – with today’s superior materials and filled with today’s technology and doodads.  You can drive a head-turning iconic car of the ages… and get directions whispered from your dashboard.

So the body is made of superior steel than possible in the 60’s. It’s well hung with a 5.0-liter 265hp fuel-injected V8, McPherson strut front suspension and a three-link rear one, disc brakes all around and power steering. And its creature comforts are all contemporized: remote keyless entry, power door locks, power seats, tilt steering column, digital message center, even Bluetooth.

Revology ain’t building just one for bragging rights. They’re gearing up for OEM production. And in 2016, they will be selling them to you for prices beginning at around $120,000. About equal to 4 2015 Mustangs.

Apparently this is all blessed (authorized) by the mother ship, Ford Motor Company.
