1929 Rolls-Royce Phantom I Riviera Town Brougham Brewster in 1:43 scale
This is one of only 10 Rolls-Royce Phantom I Town Cars Riviera bodied by coachbuilder Brewster & Co. Master French model maker Ilario has magnificently replicated this car in 1:43 scale.
Talk about the lap of luxury! The interior of the original had beautiful inlaid panels on the division and rear doors with walnut and mahogany trim around the top edge. The caning on the rear compartment of the Riviera took three months to complete. Metal trim was gold plated.
The first owner of this magnificent car was Irene Mamlock Schoelkopf Simon Carman, hailing from Ohio. After many years it was bought by Rolls-Royce collector Roger Morrison, who restored the car and was shown at Pebble Beach in 2003, where it won its class.
Later it became part of the famous 800 historic car collection of John O’Quinn.
Limited edition of 180 pieces.
Here are two pictures of the actual car. Talk about “they don’t make’m like they used to!”
